Please reach us at kaitlynn@petalandpenmobilenotary.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A notary public is an official appointed by the state government to witness and certify the signing of legal documents.

I can notarize a variety of documents, including affidavits, power of attorney, wills, deeds, and more.

A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for all signers. Please ensure documents are filled out but not signed before our appointment.

General notarizations start at $15 per signature, plus a travel fee based on location.

Yes — I meet clients at public locations such as libraries, hospitals, care facilities, or coffee shops. I do not conduct appointments inside private residences.

Yes! I’m certified for Remote Online Notarization (RON) in Washington state. You’ll need a valid ID, an internet connection, and a device with video/audio capability.

An apostille is a certificate that verifies the authenticity of a notarized document for use in another country.

I offer document review, notarization (if needed), and submission to the Washington Secretary of State for processing.

Standard processing takes 1–2 weeks. Rush options may be available depending on your needs.

Yes — you must apply for a marriage license through your local county office. In Washington, there is a 3-day waiting period.

Each ceremony package includes everything you need to make your marriage legal and memorable. That means I’ll arrive at your chosen location, perform your ceremony with care, and ensure your marriage license is signed and filed with the appropriate county office.

The Sweetheart Ceremony is short, sweet, and perfect for couples looking for a simple way to say “we’re married.” It includes the legal wording and license signing in a beautiful, no-fuss format.

The Keepsake Ceremony adds space for personalization — you can choose to include your own vows, a special reading, or a symbolic ritual like a ring blessing or unity candle. I’ll help guide you through it all so it flows smoothly and feels just right.

The Storybook Ceremony is completely tailored to you. I’ll work with you to craft a custom script that reflects your relationship, style, and values. You can include any traditions, readings, or vows that matter to you — and I’ll help with writing, editing, or inspiration if you need it. Rehearsals and extra coordination time are also included to ensure everything is seamless on your special day.

Absolutely! I love helping couples craft personal, heartfelt vows — especially for Storybook or Keepsake ceremonies.

Travel within Kitsap County is included. I’m happy to travel farther for an additional fee — just reach out to discuss your location.

You can book online through the Appointments page or send me a message through the Contact form.

Deposits may be required for wedding ceremonies or apostille processing. You’ll receive full details when you book.

I accept card, cash, or digital payments (Venmo, PayPal, etc.).
